The 1985 CIAC Symposium was held in Banyuls-sur-Mer, France, 17th – 28th of June, 1985. The main symposium, which focused on the Biology and Distribution of Early Juvenile Cephalopods, was preceded by a workshop on the Identification of Larval and Early Juvenile Stage Cephalopods.
